From time to time, someone asks me if I could add some form of score or pros/cons summary to the end of my reviews. I intentionally don’t do that because I think it works better to read the whole piece and make up your own mind. But the other day someone contacted me with an interesting use case: how to quickly find the good ones? By now, I’ve written 70+ first impressions and reviews and most of them have 30+min reading time, so it can be a bit overwhelming for people that are new to the hobby.
So I just created a recommendations page, a bit inspired by So Very Wrong About Games’ Canon, that I plan to keep updated over time. Instead of showing my “top X games” (which would be difficult anyways), it gives you a set of categories and then you hopefully find a game you might like. Some of them are still missing pictures because I haven’t actually reviewed all of them, but that’s only a question of time because they are all great games.
You can find it here: Recommend Games or via the menu at the top of the page. Hope you like it and will find it useful!
